Best Autism Therapy Centre in Jaipur
One team, one plan, four therapies under one roof
Autism Spectrum Disorder is a difference in how the brain develops, affecting how a child communicates, relates to others, and experiences the world around them. It is not an illness and there is nothing to cure. What helps is targeted, consistent therapy built around the particular child in front of you.
Autism is also the one condition where a child usually needs more than one therapy at the same time. Communication, behaviour, sensory regulation and school readiness all move together, and treating them separately is why families end up driving between four clinics with four sets of goals that never speak to each other.
At Paramount, our speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, ABA therapists and special educators sit in the same building and write a single plan for your child. Our Durgapura centre is open Monday to Saturday, 10:00 to 19:30.

Who We Work With
- Children with a confirmed autism diagnosis, at any point on the spectrum
- Children waiting for an assessment, or whose parents have concerns but no diagnosis yet — therapy does not require a label, and waiting for one wastes time
- Children with a related developmental difference: global developmental delay, social communication difficulty, or ADHD alongside autism
- Families who have a diagnosis but have been given no plan, and do not know what to do next
- Families who want a second opinion on a programme they are already following

Early Signs of Autism
The earliest reliable signs usually appear between 12 and 24 months, and they are mostly about social communication — whether a child shares attention, responds to their name, points at things, and looks back to check you have noticed.
- By 12 months — does not respond to their name, little or no babbling, no pointing or waving
- By 18 months — no pretend play, does not point to show you something purely to share it
- By 24 months — no meaningful two-word phrases of their own
- At any age — loss of speech or social skills a child previously had. See someone promptly, without waiting.
- Alongside these — distress at change, repetitive movements, lining up objects, strong reactions to noise or texture
A child does not need to show all of these. One or two, consistently, is reason enough to book an assessment. Our full guide to the early signs of autism goes through this age by age.
What Happens at an Autism Assessment
There is no blood test and no scan for autism. Assessment is structured observation and detailed history-taking, and to your child it looks like a session with toys.
- A conversation with you — pregnancy and birth, milestones, family history, your specific concerns. You know your child better than any clinician will after one session, so this is the most valuable part.
- Play-based observation — how your child explores, responds to their name, shares attention, plays, and handles a small change in routine.
- Developmental profiling across communication, motor skills, sensory responses and daily living.
- Ruling out the alternatives — hearing first of all, then language difficulty, and other developmental differences that can look similar.
- A feedback conversation in plain language, with a written plan.
A formal autism diagnosis is made by a developmental paediatrician, child psychiatrist or clinical psychologist. We assess your child’s developmental and functional profile, begin therapy where it is needed, and work alongside the diagnosing doctor. If you do not have one yet, we will say so and help you find the right person rather than leaving you to work it out.
You leave with a direction, not a label.
Frequently Asked Questions
No, and that is the wrong frame. Autism is a difference in how the brain develops, not an illness. Therapy does not remove autism; it builds communication, independence and self-regulation so a child can take part in their own life with far less distress. Be wary of anyone in Jaipur or anywhere else who promises a cure.
No. Therapy targets the actual difficulties — communication, sensory regulation, daily living skills — not the label. We frequently begin while an assessment is still in progress, because waiting for a diagnostic appointment can take months that a young child cannot spare.
Yes. Reduced eye contact is common but not universal, and many autistic children make good eye contact with familiar people at home. No single sign rules autism in or out.
That is what the assessment decides. As a general pattern, a child with no way to communicate usually starts with speech and communication work, and a child too dysregulated to sit through a session usually starts with occupational and sensory work. Most children need more than one, run together.
Yes. All four therapies plus special education run from our Durgapura centre in Jaipur and our Sikar centre, under one plan and one team. Parents usually find this matters more than they expected — four clinics means four sets of goals that rarely align.
No. Early support does more with less effort, which is why we push parents not to wait a year. But children make meaningful gains at every age, and we work with children well into their school years.
No. Autism is a neurodevelopmental difference with a strong genetic component. None of these cause it, and parents carry enough guilt without that being added to it.
